One of the pleasures of walking in New York in December (even when it’s 32 and windy–brrr!) is passing by the rows of Christmas trees lining the streets and avenues.
Aron and I resisted the urge to bring one home the weekend after Thanksgiving–and had even discussed driving out of town to cut a fresh one–but with so many beautiful trees just outside our door, we could wait no longer.
…and carried the winning Fraser home with us. I think he (and his freezing hand) was grateful we didn’t have far to go.
Trimming the tree is one of my favorite holiday traditions; it was so nice to fall asleep with the room all aglow and smelling of pine.
