I’m mostly a nude- or pale-pink-only kind of girl, but lately I’ve been having fun painting my nails red. The search for the shade I had in mind has lead to a ridiculous accumulation of seemingly identical bottles. (But I swear they’re worlds apart!) My ideal red is a slightly retro, orangey-red–the shade that might appear in a photograph of a 1970s automobile. Or maybe a bit like that beautiful Olivetti Valentine typewriter?
