Aron made sure that this past Valentine’s day weekend had it all. He even got the almond blossoms to make an early debut.
Many of you have likely seen some of these on Instagram, but here are some favorite photos…
We took the kids to the Nut Tree for carousel and train rides—before Rubio’s Fish Tacos and Krispy Kreme donuts.
And we went on a bike ride around the arboretum. (Hudson tried to convince Skyler that helmets are cool, but she’s not a fan.)
He did a pretty good job at playing photographer. Check it out!
That evening, we were grateful that grandparents offered to come over so that we could go out to dinner in Sacramento (at Ella, a favorite).
On Sunday, we visited one of the nearby orchards where the almond trees are already in bloom.
Skyler was so excited about the flowers.
What a difference a year makes. (Some of the photos Aron took of me with Skyler reminds me of some of these with Hudson.)
And that afternoon, we arranged babysitting for the afternoon so that we could go to the Scribe pick-up party in Sonoma—just the two of us.
