My friend Anna once told me that while most people collect objects, she collects Etsy shops. And a while back we ran a series of guides to some of her favorites—lighting, ceramics, rugs, etcetera. It was eye-opening! One could spend hours browsing through all of the treasures on Etsy. From unique handmade products to digital templates and vintage furnishings, it really feels like you could find anything you could possibly want.
But what Anna’s collections revealed was how helpful it can be to narrow your search. Lately, with summer coming up, I’ve been zero-ing in on all of the beautiful linen pieces like washable dresses, relaxed tops, and comfy bed-linens and finding that Etsy is an incredible resource.
Here are some favorite shops…
Epic Linen. I recently unwrapped the long linen dress in check (pictured at top), after messaging with Ieva and sending her my sizes to see if any of her already-made items would be a good fit. If you’re impatient, that can be a way to avoid the longer lead time that many of these custom-made items require.

Love and Confuse. I love the wrap belt on this AURORA Jumpsuit.
Also pictured: BEE Linen Shirt and ALEXANDRA Linen Tie Waist Top
LinenFox. It was hard to narrow my favorites down, but I’d chose this Oversized Kimono-style jacket (love the terracotta hue) with this simple white linen top.

Not Perfect Linen. I’m a sucker for the drape in this Linen cropped front top.
Also pictured: These quick-drying Waffle linen towels are also lovely.
Linen Sea. Spotted this Striped linen blouse paired with soft linen pants.
Magic Linen offers a particularly nice range—with bedding, table linens, and clothing for kids and men as well as women.
Shown here: Light Gray duvet cover and a blue striped linen set.
And their Linen skirt with buttons is on my wish-list.
Pillowlink would be my shop choice for the table—in particular this Natural Linen tablecloth.
Just about every vendor will customize your selection for you. Check to see the colors of linen they offer, as they all differ, and message the makers to see how your measurements size in their pieces. The personal attention and correspondence you can have with the vendors is one of the unique features of Etsy which I most appreciate—be sure to take advantage of the opportunity!
Have you ordered any custom clothes or linens from an Etsy shop? Any favorites to add?
