Last week, my parents-in-law took Hudson and me out to lunch in nearby Winters and we drove past acres of Walnut and Almond trees. The rows upon rows of trees were so pretty–even in the harsh midday light. We stopped in at one of the area’s growers and processors, Mariani Nuts, and they took home 10 pounds of shelled walnuts. Aron’s mom told me that she once brought home 100 pounds when both Aron and his sister were living at home. Can you imagine?
Won’t the trees be pretty in the spring?
