Locanda Verde

After uncovering the best french toast in the city (and a runner-up), we turned our sleuthing skills to pancakes. It’s a toss-up right now between the ones at Jo’s and these at Locanda Verde. Light and fluffy lemon-ricotta-blueberry with a topping of zesty lemon curd. Yum! Unfortunately, I think our days of eating them outside are numbered, but they do have a lovely dining room… 

We always go overboard there: the pastry counter is pretty outstanding, as is the Uova Modenese that we usually share ( a dish of house-made sausage hash, spinach, and tomato hollandaise); and revisiting this post on Serious Eats before our last visit probably didn’t help.
