Though our days of diapering are just beginning with Skyler, ours with Hudson are numbered. He’s starting to show interest in using the toilet! Looking back, we went the disposable route, and have had varying success with different brands (though, oftentimes leaks were our fault when we wouldn’t realize it was time to move up a size!). Our current solution: we use a Huggies diaper (like Huggies Snug & Dry) for overnight. Other brands weren’t quite up to the overnights, and Hudson was routinely waking up wet. Problem solved!
But there’s another reason to appreciate Huggies: They donate diapers to children in need, through their program “Every Little Bottom Deserves a Diaper.” 1 in 3 parents in America struggle to provide diapers; in response, in 2010, Huggies launched the Every Little Bottom program and has since has partnered with local and national organizations to help build awareness. They have donated over 60 million diapers to date.
Here’s more on how you can help, too. (Or, you can donate directly to a diaper bank, or host a diaper drive.)
