There’s this photo of me in front of a beautiful new apartment building in NoLIta (211 Elizabeth Street–a great address, right around the corner from favorites like Cafe Gitane and Public); and every now and then, the photo pops up when my screen-saver cycles past and makes me wonder what the inside of the building looks like.
Not bad, eh?
Ever since moving to New York, I have a heightened affection for glossy-black paint, dark wood, and brick–all in abundance here (and over the city). Of course, what I really want right now is that tub!
The apartments are–not surprisingly–designed by the same folks, Roman and Williams, who are behind the Ace Hotel.
