Hudson and Sakura Bloom

I’m honored to be participating in the Sakura Bloom Sling Diaries project this year: once a month (for SIX months–eek!) I’ll be sharing some images of me carrying Hudson in a Sakura Bloom Ring Sling. And the idea is that the images will tie-in to a theme each month. There are thirteen of us participating, and while I’ll post photos here, you can follow all of the entries on the Sakura Bloom Pinterest page. I’ll post my first entry shortly.

Aron and I shared a linen Sakura Bloom sling when Hudson was first born (a gift from Leigh and her family), using it almost exclusively until he was 10 weeks old when we started rotating with an Ergo carrier. The linen was perfect for the hot summer days and I loved how easy it was to nurse Hudson in the sling. (Even while walking across the Brooklyn Bridge!) He looked like a little peanut; I’ll never forget it. It will be interesting to see how different it feels to carry a one-year-old than a one-month-old.

Have  a great weekend! And to those of you who celebrate Easter: Happy holiday!
