Local strawberries

Some of the best strawberries can be found, freshly picked, just 4 miles from downtown Davis. It sort of blows my mind sometimes, driving just a few minutes beyond the restaurants and homes and the University, and finding myself surrounded by fields.

P.S. Nearby walnut groves and blossoming Almond trees. And a day-trip to go Strawberry picking on Long Island, NY.
