Can I Eat That? (& my top 5 Cookbooks for Kids)

Can I Eat That?

A playful approach to kids’ sometimes serious food questions, Can I Eat That? looks adorable!

Questions like “Do chicken have fingers?” and “Do eggs grow on eggplants?”are answered along with spreads full of word play: “Bacon, Bacoff? Ketchup, Ketchdown? Raisin, Raisout?” It reminds me of the kind of conversation we routinely have at our table.

Of course the best way to answer the “Can I Eat That?”-question is to get into the kitchen together. Here are the top five cookbooks I’m most interested in cracking open with the kids.
