Perennial pleasure

Aron and I went for a stroll on the High Line recently; it had been a long time since our last visit. Far too long: the season had transformed the pathway once again. In fact, the High Line is also just showing its age. It’s only been one year since the green space opened, and the native grasses and flowers are spilling over the old railway tracks more than ever. It was beautiful–and not too crowded on this particular weekday afternoon; we were reminded that we should climb up and walk the High Line to check out its ever-changing plant scene more often. Bonus: Ginger gelato from the L’arte del Gelato cart currently comes with the view.
