We’re going to a choir concert tonight, figgy pudding and all, and then will cross our fingers for some sleeping in on Saturday morning before the weekend begins in earnest. Rain is in the forecast, so it also seems a good time to finish decorating the tree and to watch a movie with the kids.
We’re also looking forward to spending some time with friends, toasting to the start of the season!

I’m going to be optimistic and presume that we are going to have some cozy nights for catching up on television soon—you know the drill: vacation nights, present-wrapping, achy cold-season (jinx?). So please spill: what have you loved lately, and will you be binging on over the holidays?
Happy December! Christmas and the end of the year—the decade!—is fast approaching, and it feels like we’re running to keep pace. I know I’m not alone when I say that having Thanksgiving fall so close to the end of the month threw me for a loop!
It almost feels too indulgent to pause just to edit photos from the week past, but we had some really beautiful, snowy days in the Sierras and I’d love to share some favorite memories.
