Thomas the Cat, Number 237 1/2

Spotted in a storefront in Nolita: perhaps the cutest cat door in New York.

(P.S. More great NY donuts)
I loved our invitations. We designed them ourselves and then had the design letter-pressed at a spot downtown in Los Angeles. I created the image in photoshop after being inspired by a pattern I saw in Martha Stewart. I love the way the yellow dots joined on the heavy cardstock to resemble mustard flowers: they were in bloom throughout the valley around Los Olivos, California, the weekend we were married. And I remember so vividly sitting at the table with Aron getting ready to send them out: he would draw pencil lines on each envelope for me to address them–and then erase the lines once the ink had dried. We made the first one out to ourselves and were so thrilled when it arrived in the mail.
It has been four amazing years–and I know it is only going to get better!
Have a great weekend! We’re off to celebrate!
