Will you be doing any back-to-school clothes shopping for your kids? Ours our growing so fast, so I do my best to choose plenty of neutral staples that can be passed down and shared.
The kids and I picked some things out together, and they were kind enough to model some of our favorites…
The Abercrombie Kids’ denim selection is fantastic. Lots of washes come in plenty of different styles—from skinny and super skinny to straight, taper, bootcut, and even a cut that wears like sweatpants. Hudson’s wearing the Skinny Jeans in Slim, which could easily be passed along to Skyler. I appreciate finding kids’ pants with an adjustable waist band for this reason. We’ve occasionally made his jeans into cut-offs, too!
Hudson’s embroidered stretch denim jacket is from the Everybody Collection. I picked up one for both kids, just to show how cute it would be for a boy or a girl, but am happy to say we’ll just need the one. Skyler can wear it after Hudson grows out of it!
Their kids denim starts at size 3/4 and goes up to 15/16, so we got Skyler the Pull-on Jean Leggings. They’re still mostly cotton, so they have a true feel, while still being soft and stretchy. Plus, it’s the best whiskering I’ve seen on a jegging.
(By the way, it’s nice to see a kids’ section that still sizes for teenagers! One can hold off on that adult pricing a little longer.)
We picked out a few tops from the new collection, but Skyler especially loves anything with flowers! Their icon pattern crew tee comes in something like 14 colors, and this rose pattern caught her eye right away.
I also really like the icon v-neck, and want the white stripe in my size.
Hudson is wearing the black and white check icon printed tee, which we also picked up in a few other designs. They have a nice shape (not boxy!) and are super soft. I think the check-print would look cool paired with a skirt, too.
