I’ve left my better half in Calfornia visiting her family, but after a full day of travel I’m finally back home. It was a very full trip and we had a great time visiting with friends and family, as well as spending some romantic days alone in the Napa Valley. Here are just a handful of pictures but we’ll share some more details soon!
Testing out a new bike seat with my youngest nephew (who promptly fell asleep back there).
We rented bikes and rode around the Napa valley!
Would it be too much to say it was a perfect moment? It was.
Ashley looking awesome at 5 months.
Virgin, of course.
Learning about farm animals and nephew sandwiches.
We’ve finished our latest travelogue on our February Caribbean Cruise. We had a great time and had fun looking back through our photos. I hope you enjoy the post!

My family is hosting a California baby shower for me and I’ve been struggling a bit with the “what to wear” question–as I’m sure everyone with a suddenly rotund belly does. I’m not finding many dresses to my liking. (Why do so many have bows over the belly? My parents called the new grandchild a gift, which worried me that they think we might begiving them the baby, so a bow could be confusing!)
So despite feeling some (self-inflicted) pressure to wear a dress, I’ve decided I should just follow my instincts and go with the separates direction. I spotted this Breton Stripe Boatneck on ASOS (which is an awesome source for maternity if you can figure out the sizing) and am basically planning to copy the whole ensemble.
