Floating into the Weekend (& Friday Links)

Aron and I had a restorative couple of days in Calistoga at one of our favorite places, Indian Springs, this week and I’ll be trying to hold onto those vibes into the weekend. If anyone is heading into Sonoma, the mud bath there is quite the experience!

It’s pretty rainy here right now, which means snow in the mountains! So I wish I could say we plan to put on some skis. But we will be sticking close this weekend—Hudson has a group violin lesson and we have dinner plans with friends. We also plan to watch the Oscars! Will you? I was reading an article about some of the song-and-dance numbers that they used to stage before they tried to cut down the time, and I have to confess that I miss them. Any fun plans on your schedule? Have a great weekend!

Flowery Dresses for Spring

I tend to reach for jeans or joggers on most days, sticking to a fairly routine uniform of blues and whites and blacks, but something about all of these trees in bloom around here has been making me wish for more flowery, flowing dresses.

Here are some that I think could be worn casually for spring…
