Sweater Weather: Fall Style

It’s still a bit far off here, but our day in the Bay had me looking forward to getting a bit more cozy. Next thing you know, I’m looking at slouchy cardigans online…

Here are some items I’m thinking about for fall, both by (mostly) revisiting what’s already in my closet and by, in some cases, adding to it.

That cardigan, with its pockets and 70s-vibe-is-fresh-again color.

A new cut of denim shirt. (Or a lighter denim work jacket—the Charlie’s point jacket is on sale at Mollusk.)

Hi-rise, wide-leg crops.

That elusive perfect pair of vintage Levis, with heavy denim and a lighter wash. (Similar)

Ultra-feminine Victorian blouses.

And boxy pinstripes that look like they came from a fella’s closet.

Oxfords that look best with a bit of ankle. (For example.)

And canvas slip-ons for back-to-school drop-offs.

Silk bandanas to tie around crew-neck pullovers. (Also here, for less.)

A boxy wool swing coat. (Maybe with the sleeves tailored to 3/4-length?)

Anything you have your eye on?

P.S. Everything fall.
