Brrrrr…

Tonight we’re expecting a low of 16 degrees. It’s quite a change from California. Fortunately, we enjoyed a very mild New Year’s day–with sunny skies and a much more tolerable, mid-50s climate–to ease us back into winter on the east coast. Still, it’s nice to be home. We decided to embrace the dip in the thermostat and enjoy the last hours of vacation with a walk along the High Line yesterday around sunset. It’s unbelievable how different it looks from season to season. Even with barren trees and bracing winds, it’s still a beautiful (and crowded!) space
