I feel like the first post after a holiday like Labor Day is always a tough one to write. It comes on the heels of such a nice, long weekend!
Lucky me: I get a pass today! It’s my birthday! Hip hip!
And though it feels like I should really look forward rather than back, I have to say that it’s been such a great year. I think I’d like to beam myself back to Positano—where we were last year on my birthday (having one of the best lunches of my life)—in case that might help ensure that this year measures up. At the very least, I’ll be sure to drink an Aperol Spritz.
P.S. It’s going to be extra hot here this week, so while I’m ready to accept a change of season, we’re still in summer mode here.
