Parm

You may recall that our pre-baby bucket list included dinner at Torrisi Italian Specialties, a difficult spot to go to even with a babysitter owing to its day-of, in-person reservations system. And it turned out to be one of our favorite meals in the city!

I certainly don’t think we could bring our little man to dinner there, but I am happy to say that we did manage to bring him to their new-ish sister resturant, Parm (where they serve the sandwiches once reserved for Torrisi’s lunch menu).

We tried out our Inglesina Clip-on chair for the first time at a restaurant (like many small eateries in the city, they don’t have high chairs) and Hudson loved it. Everything was delicious–especially the antipasti, like the fresh Mozzarella or the Asparagus with house-made croutons. Ashley also gave high marks to the cookie layers and the pistachio in the tri-color ice cream cake (though I was too busy with the zeppole to weigh in). We were so happy when Hudson chomped happily–almost egarly–away on highly sliced bits of our food… until we realized he was eating all of our expensive ricotta and decided to break out a baby food pouch instead.
